We stayed with you on Friday evening and just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for a wonderful time! I have to admit we found you by chance via good old ‘Google’ but were won over by your website and the fact that you seemed small but ‘warm and friendly’!!!

We were certainly not disappointed. We both felt that Old Downton Lodge was probably the most wonderful place we had ever stayed and between the two of is we have stayed at a fair few places! The attention to detail, warmness and friendliness of everybody there made us feel immediately at home. And indeed it felt more like we were at home than staying in a hotel. Jackie & Neil August 07
